  28. This is a freely distributable demo version of RETURN OF
  29. THE LIVING TEXT ADVENTURE.  This demo version does
  30. not allow the game to be saved to disk, omits two
  31. graphics disks, and does not come with a manual or
  32. hard drive install program.
  33.  
  34. A fully functional version of the program (coming on 3
  35. disks) can be acquired by sending a contribution to the
  36. address below.  Suggested donation is $25 US.
  37.  
  38. Preferred method for contributions is by
  39. International Money Order (see your local post
  40. office).  But a contribution by other forms (eg.
  41. cheque) is ok if you cannot manage a money order.
  42.         
  43. Permission is hereby granted to distribute this demo program on the
  44. condition that no profit is gained from its distribution.
  45. All document files must accompany it and remain unchanged. 
  46. It may not be distributed on 'copyright' non distributable PD
  47. disks.  It may be distributed on a BBS as long as that BBS does
  48. not have charges for downloading of files.

  50. The demo version of Rolta may be included on magazine coverdisks
  51. as long as we are sent a copy of the distribution.

  53. To register the software please fill out the registration form
  54. found in the Registration file.

  58. !!!!!!!!!!!! IMPORTANT NOTE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  60. You *must* copy the file diskfont.library from your
  61. workbench disk into the libs directory on the first
  62. disk of the Rolta distribution.  Commodore do not
  63. allow this file to be freely distributed and it is
  64. needed for this program to operate.

  66. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RUN THE PROGRAM WITHOUT THIS
  67. FILE.

  69. If you have version 2.0+ of the Amiga operating system
  70. you should also copy asl.library into the libs directory
  71. to enable the use of the Amiga standard file requester.

  73. If you install Rolta onto a hard drive, these problems should
  74. not occur.

  78. Known Problems :-
  79.  
  80. There are some known problems with this demo distribution
  81. which are fixed in the registered version :-
  82.  
  83. 1) The 'clear screen' menu item is currently used to save the
  84. game options to disk (in the file .options in the advent
  85. directory).  The ability to save options to disk is a late
  86. addition and a new graphic for this option was not added to
  87. this demo version.

  90. want them fixed.
